There's a feeling Dana wants you to have the moment you walk through our doors: that you've stepped somewhere warm, unhurried, and a little like home. That feeling is the whole reason The Yellow Acres exists.

Dana is the founder and the heart of the boutique. After years in the boutique world, the same things still light her up: the hunt for pieces you won't find everywhere, the joy of children's clothing, and most of all, the people. She believes shopping should feel like visiting an old friend, and she built The Yellow Acres in Newberry to be exactly that. It's a calm, welcoming place to find something beautiful for yourself, your little ones, or your home, or simply to stop in and say hello.

That warmth isn't a tagline. It's her family. Dana runs the boutique alongside her husband, with their two very spoiled Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Banks and Copper, never far behind, which is why you'll always find a thoughtful little corner of pet goods in the shop. The Yellow Acres is family-owned, family-run, and rooted in this community and the friendships that have grown up around it.

Inside you'll find thoughtfully curated women's and children's clothing spanning newborn to plus sizes, along with shoes, bows, jewelry, gifts, and charming things for the home. Local friends can choose Free Local Pickup at checkout, and we ship everywhere else, so a little small-town charm can land right on your doorstep.
